Meet Chad

      Chad is the only Republican, in the 7th Congressional District.  He had three terms on the Kane Co. Regional Board of Schools, and, he was the board president.  In 1998, Chad was the only conservative who ran for Illinois governor, in the republican primary.

Chad Koppie has held these offices:
Member of the Kane County Regional Board of Schools, 2007- present
District 300 School Board, 1987-1991
Rutland Township trustee, 1983-1987
Humana Hospital board, 1983-1987

      In 2020, Chad ran for Congress, in the 8th District.  He was on the ballot, for the U.S. Senate, in 2008, for the Constitution Party; 1996, for the U.S. Taxpayers Party; and 1992, for the Conservative Party of Illinois.  In 2016, he was a write--in candidate for the U.S. Senate.  That race had five other write-in candidates, and he almost got twice as many votes as the other five, combined.

      Chad was the vice-chairman of the Illinois Center Right Coalition, 2007-'09.  The ICRC was a conservative, statewide group that was founded in 2003.  The ICRC steering committee included about 40 people, including Jim Oberweis, Pat O'Malley, Steve Rauschenberger, Norm Hill, Mike Psak, Jon Zahm, Rich Evans, and Cody Holt.
